Remembering Tina Downey

I've already said a lot about the loss of Tina, so am not going to post many more words today.

These sunflowers grow all over the place in Colorado. They've been in full bloom for the last several weeks. Tina loved to hike and camp in the mountains, so I made sure to get those too.

Did you post sunflowers today? You can add yourself to the Linky List here:

  1. THANK YOU...Tina would have loved this and all the tributes... words have escaped me lately too. Finding words to describe her and our friendship... other than "we are all going to miss her"...

  2. AJ - Tina treasured her friendship with you. I have taken Tina with me in spirit on every Colorado bike ride this summer because she was having such difficulties. Yesterday I stopped several times to "sit" with the sunflowers on the trail, knowing Tina is part of us all.

  9. Who knew that sunflowers bloom in Colorado?! That is great, especially for Tina to live in a place where she was surrounded by her favorite flower. Thanks for sharing this in your tribute, AJ!
